centre piece of the month

whoops! i almost missed this month's "centre piece of the month", hosted by janelle of talk of tomatoes.
as you can see - it's a quick and easy one this month. but then again - a bucket filled with some sand and a bunch of lovely candles is the perfect centre piece for those first warm nights, where you can sit outside until the sun goes down and you sip some wine with friends until a new day starts...

i used a tiny bucket and very slim candles this time - but if you are hosting a big outdoor party, simply take your big buckets and fill them with sand and candles that burn a couple of hours, so you dont have to worry about them burning down too quickly. you cold also use small stones - i find sand just a little chicer. and the ribbon is just me. i need to attach a ribbon to everything. can't help it!

What a lovely idea! I think the dainty, slim tapers are perfect. It would look like a sparkler on a summer night.

Perfect!
Like a mini campfire. It looks so casual, yet so elegant.
I can't wait to see what's up this month...

Gorgeous. I not only love your centerpiece but I love the table it's sitting on.
